Gail Pan is an Australian Designer who lives just outside of Melbourne, Australia. She has been designing patterns and teaching since 2003, but has been sewing most of her life. With a Mum as a dressmaker, there were always scraps to play with! While Gail mostly designs with a strong embroidery presence, she also loves needleturn applique, and she often combines them both. Gail has 6 self-published books and 4 published in conjunction with Martingale/That Patchwork Place, plus over 350 individual patterns. Gail also designs fabric for Henry Glass Fabrics with her 4th line coming in late 2020. Gail loves to teach and runs classes in her home town of Melbourne, as well as all over Australia and the world! She has experience combining teaching and travelling, having taught on cruise ships and leading likeminded people on international quilting trips. Having previously been to Japan, Gail is excited to share the Japanese experience with others.
